With the top 3 banks having
launched their cards targeting online shoppers aka millennials, it is an apt
time to compare the three cards i.e. Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, Amazon Pay
Credit Card and HDFC Bank Millennia Credit Card.
This is how the comparison looks
like:
So which card is the best?
I came up with a hypothetical
expense chart with expenses spread out in various categories, and calculated
which card gives maximum reward points. This is how it looks:
Verdict:
Despite being with lots of
T&C in terms of minimum transaction size, max reward cap etc, HDFC
Millennia Credit card is the best among the three. Reason being 5% cashback on
Amazon, Flipkart and flight tickets on its Payzapp and SmartBuy platform and 8
domestic lounge access.
Axis Flipkart card would be second
primarily because of 4% cashback offers on MMT and GoIbibo along with 4
domestic lounge access.
However, between Axis
Flipkart and Amazon Pay its tough to make
a choice as under hypothetical scenario it’s the flight expenses which is tilts
the decision in favour of Axis Flipkart, someone who is not keen on flights and
lounge access Amazon Pay card wins, as one can order nearly everything from
Amazon and get 5% reward rate on those purchases.

ReplyDeleteConsider the HDFC Diners Club International Card. There are couple of offers via flight portals. Plus there is free international lounge access too.
ReplyDeleteAlso the fees get waived if your spending is high.. Don't know the amount though.
Also the American Express Rewards Card gives you a card credit of INR 10,000 once you touch 24000 points. Each month you can earn 1000 points by doing 4 trnx of Rs 1000.
ReplyDeleteAlso card charges are waived based on spends
